Action Behavior Centers is seeking a Charges Specialist I to join our Revenue Cycle team!

We will train on specific task items listed below, although the right fit will quickly and easily pick up responsibilities and manage them on their own. Location: Austin, TX (on-site position), Remote if outside of Austin area.

Min. Experience: Entry Level
Qualifications: 1-2 years of previous job experience 1-2 years of medical record/auditing experience highly preferred Proactive and positive team player with exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and G Suite What you will be doing at ABC: Assign Correct Billing Codes Ensure codes match both the provider’s documentation and insurance requirements. Approve charges for claim submission - Central Reach Double-check that all patient, provider, and insurance details are correct. Verify Insurance Requirements Make sure services are covered and meet payer-specific billing rules to reduce claim denials. Identify and fix issues like duplicate charges, incorrect codes, or missing authorizations.
