We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our Internal Medicine Department. In this role, you’ll work closely with board-certified internists, assisting in advanced diagnostics and treatments, providing exceptional care to patients, and delivering an outstanding client experience.
Position Responsibilities:
Assist veterinarians during consultations and diagnostic procedures
Perform phlebotomy, IV catheter placement, and medication administration
Handle advanced diagnostic tests (CT Scan, ultrasounds, endoscopy, rhinoscopy, etc.)
Prepare and submit laboratory samples
Educate clients about treatment plans, medication administration, and at-home care
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using SmartFlow and EzyVet
Monitor and care for hospitalized patients under the direction of the internal medicine team
Other duties as assigned.Requirements:
2+ years of veterinary technician experience (RVT, CVT, or LVT preferred)
Strong understanding of veterinary terminology and internal medicine procedures
Excellent communication skills with both clients and team members
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced specialty hospital environment
Proficiency in venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and sample collection
