Job DescriptionYOUR TASKS
This role provides leadership for the mold shop during an assigned shift, ensuring smooth operations, proper documentation, and compliance with work instructions and safety protocols. It requires technical proficiency, communication, critical thinking, and the ability to manage personnel and workflow efficiently.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Lead mold shop operations during assigned shifts, including managing staffing and workflow.Oversee scheduling for mold cleanings, bladder changes, TSLs, and set-ups.Ensure accurate completion and submission of shift documentation (logs, BOLs, etc.).Collaborate with prior shift for seamless changeovers and maintain open communication with supervisors.Monitor press coding accuracy and recommend adjustments to curing processes as needed.Enforce FIFO and correct storage practices for curing bladders.Follow and enforce all mold/bladder procedures and specifications.Apply mechanical, troubleshooting, and communication skills while interpreting engineered drawings or learning as required.Be self-managed, detail-oriented, and capable of performing under pressureFollow all plant, ESH, CBS, quality, and department processes and proceduresOther duties as assignedNOTE: May not be inclusive of all work required and may be updated as needed.
