GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Responsible for warehouse management and/or providing production support, maintaining all materials in good condition, providing support and training to team leaders and material handlers, and keeping production lines running.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree
Experience: Five years of leadership in warehouse or internal material handling and practical experience as a large-scale supervisor are required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS
Coordinate efficient communication among all teams based on shipping/receiving, warehouse inventory, and internal material handling.
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and administrative skills.
Microsoft Office and SAP
Experience with a Six Sigma approach
Analytical
Able to work under pressure
Strong leadership skills
Strong drive and motivation Knowledge of MRP, JIT systems, ISO, SPC, and SAP
Knowledge of procurement, internal logistics, external logistics, customs, planning, purchasing, transportation, inventory control, and warehousing
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES
Follow H&S rules and provide a safe operating environment for your team and colleagues.
Monitor logistics strategies for material delivery, ensuring the execution of processes and controls.
Measure logistics performance and ensure disciplined execution in logistics operations.
Lead the efficiency of material handling and warehouse design.
Responsible for process optimization in the Logistics Department. Additionally, ensure that departmental objectives for PSP/DMAIC/OPS and IDEA are met.
Respect and maintain inventory accuracy.
Production support.
Training.
Any other duties or responsibilities assigned by the department supervisor.
Perform safety-related activities.
Promote continuous improvement and customer focus.
Ensure the implementation and monitoring of BRPMS initiatives.
Any other duties or responsibilities assigned by the department head.
Participate in compliance with the QMS (Quality Management System) determined for their role in relation to ISO 9001:2015.
Comply with safety standards according to their role.
Comply with planned training related to Quality and Training in a timely manner.
Identify and report any quality and compliance issues and support corrective actions.
