Internal Controls Analyst
Reporting to the Internal Controls Senior Manager, the **Internal Controls Analyst** will be responsible for maintaining an effective system of internal controls and ensuring compliance with Stryker policies and procedures and applicable laws and regulations. Also, this role will support internal operational processes and programs for mitigation of financial risk. **What you will do:** + Work with members of the SSC functional teams (I2C, P2P, R2R, Intercompany) to ensure key risks are appropriately identified and documented for the each of the functions. + Support the assessment of internal controls over financial reporting to ensure compliance with Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Act of 2002 + Assess the internal controls environment and framework for improvement opportunities + Ensure key risks are appropriately identified and documented + Assist the teams to ensure internal control narratives, standard operating procedures and desktop procedures are kept up to date + Coordinate testing with internal and external audit + Review new and revised Corporate Finance Policies to ensure compliance readiness for the SSC. + Train new staff to comply with internal controls requirements and Corporate Finance Policies **What you need:** Required + Bachelor’s degree in finance or Accounting + Minimum 2 years experience in a finance function in a matrix international company (preferably American or Multinational company) or public accounting + Fluent knowledge of English in speaking and writing Preferred + Certified Internal Auditor or similar certification + Public Accounting Experience + ERP technology (SAP and Oracle) experience, including ERP implementations Stryker is a global leader in medical technologies and, together with its customers, is driven to make healthcare better.
