The Internal Control team contributes to the operational effectiveness and integrity of the company's processes. 

 

Active student from any of the last 4 semesters of Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related analytical field.90% English skills (Oral, reading, writing, and listening)Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (you should be comfortable with basic formulas, formatting, and data entry) and Word.Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detailGood written and verbal communication skills.The ability to manage your time effectively and prioritize tasks, especially while balancing your studies.A proactive and eager-to-learn attitude. You should be comfortable asking questions and taking initiative.Reliable and responsible, able to commit to a part-time schedule.High level of integrity and discretion, as you may be exposed to sensitive company information.Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and also collaborate effectively as part of a team

As an Internal Control Ford Champ, you'll have the opportunity to gain exposure to a professional work environment and apply academic knowledge in a practical business context. The role involves supporting the team with various tasks, thereby developing fundamental professional skills and understanding business operations from a control perspective.

Documentation Support: Assisting the team in creating, updating, and maintaining documentation for internal processes, controls, and narratives. This might involve reviewing existing documents, making edits based on team feedback, or helping to draft new sections.

Control Testing Assistance: Supporting the team in gathering necessary information and documentation required for testing the effectiveness of internal controls. This could involve pulling reports, organizing evidence, or helping to sample transactions.

Data Management & Analysis: Performing data entry, organizing information in spreadsheets (like Excel), and potentially assisting with basic data analysis or creating simple reports to support the team's work.

Meeting & Communication Support: Taking notes during team meetings, helping to prepare simple presentations or summaries, and assisting with internal communication tasks.

Research: Conducting basic research on relevant industry best practices, regulatory updates, or internal policies as directed by the team.

Administrative Support: Providing general administrative assistance to ensure the team operates smoothly, such as organizing files (digital and physical), scheduling meetings, or managing simple tasks.
