About the job

The Internal Control BI Local Lead collaborates with local Management to identify and evaluate business risks while maintaining appropriate mitigating controls across their end-to-end process and geography. As a key member of the Internal Control End-to-End process team, you will be the main point of contact for Global Testing COE and Local Process Owners on Internal Control topics.For MCO/Country Internal Control Business Partners, you will develop effective partnerships with country leadership to safeguard operations, protect assets, and uphold the highest standards of integrity and compliance. Working with key MCO/country stakeholders, you will proactively identify and mitigate risks, strengthen the internal control environment, and promote a culture of thoughtful risk-taking.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the implementation of the Internal Control framework for your E2E process and geographyManage Control EnvironmentPerform end-to-end process reviews at local levelEstablish and enhance monitoring systems addressing key internal control risksManage Control ActivitiesSupport process owners in defining SOX relevant controls and documentationPerform local risk assessment and validate control test scriptsLead walkthrough meetings and perform complex controls SOX testingAnalyze findings including Root Cause Analysis and identify compensating controlsSupport external auditors' activities related to internal controlPartner with StakeholdersOnboard local processs and control owners on internal control processes and frameworksManage alignment on IC&P topics with local ManagementIdentify and communicate local Event DataReview assurance functions reports from an Internal Control perspectiveDrive Continuous ImprovementSupport global core model projects and local change initiativesIdentify gaps in control performance and make recommendations on standardizationSupport automation initiatives for control performance and testing

About youQualifications and Skills Required

ExperienceSound knowledge in relevant E2E processes3-5 years' experience in External/Internal Audit, Internal Control, or related operational roles

Key SkillsInternal Control & Compliance: Expertise in reviewing control frameworksProcess Improvement: Application of best practices to enhance systems and processesDigital & AI Integration: Ability to leverage digital tools and AI technologiesRisk Management: Development of risk strategies based on TRT approachProblem-Solving & Project Management: Application of appropriate tools for diverse challengesCross-Functional Collaboration: Building effective working relationships across functions covering

Soft and technical skills:Excellent communication, influence, ability to work independently, results-oriented, initiative, assertive, strategic vision.Academic background:  In exact sciences and financeLanguages: Fluent English / Spanish and Portuguese is a plus
