Role Overview

We're seeking an Internal Content Manager who will play a key role in creating, curating, and managing compelling content that informs, inspires, and engages JLL's diverse global colleague audiences. This hands-on role will ensure colleagues receive timely, relevant, and impactful news and stories that bring JLL's strategy, brand, culture, and values to life.

The Internal Content Manager operates as an internal journalist, partnering with colleagues across Communications and Marketing, and the wider business to source, develop, and publish high-quality content across JLL's internal channels—including our global intranet, enterprise-wide newsletters, videos and in-office screens. The role requires exceptional writing and editorial skills, a keen understanding of evolving communications best practices, and an ability to deliver clear, consistent, and accessible messaging for a variety of audiences worldwide.

Reporting to the Director of Internal Communications, Content & Channels, this role leads enterprise content creation by blending editorial rigor, storytelling excellence, and an understanding of what makes news meaningful to our people.

Key Responsibilities

Content sourcing, creation and publishing

Identify, research, write, and edit timely, relevant, and engaging news and feature stories for JLL’s internal channels across a variety of formats (including written, video, and digital)Source and develop a strong pipeline of content ideas and stories from across the organization, collaborating with internal stakeholders and content contributors to highlight company achievements, priorities, and culture.Conduct interviews with leaders, subject matter experts, and employees at all levels to bring a journalistic lens to company news, initiatives, culture, and achievements.Work in partnership with matrix delivery teams on the production of video and digital content where required.Translate business strategy, complex topics, and executive messaging into clear, accessible, and engaging content for diverse internal audiences.Work in partnership Internal Channels Manager to publish and promote content across JLL’s internal communication channels.

Editorial Planning & Coordination

Support the development and execution of our enterprise-wide colleague newsroom and internal editorial calendar – proactively aligning news coverage with business priorities and audience needs.Coordinate with colleagues on cross-functional storytelling, campaigns, and global initiatives.

Measurement & Continuous Improvement

Monitor and analyze content performance metrics and employee feedback to assess effectiveness.Make recommendations to enhance content quality, reach, and engagement.

Best Practice & Guidance

Maintain high editorial standards, ensure message consistency, and uphold JLL’s tone of voice and brand values in all enterprise-wide communications.Provide editorial feedback, coaching, and support to content contributors across the business to maintain high standards and consistent messaging.Stay informed about best practices and emerging trends in digital storytelling and internal journalism; share ideas for continual improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, Public Relations, or a related field.7+ years of professional experience as a journalist, internal communicator, or editorial content creator—ideally in large and/or global organizations.Demonstrable newsroom/editorial experience: story research, interviews, reporting, editing, and content packaging.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a journalist’s instinct for great storytelling and accuracy.Track record of creating high-quality, engaging content for digital and multimedia channels.Strong editorial judgment, attention to detail, and commitment to truth, clarity, and ethical reporting.Experience managing multiple assignments, projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Stakeholder management skills; able to collaborate effectively with colleagues across multiple geographies and functions.Experience using analytics and audience insights to inform content strategy.Comfortable with communications measurement tools and data-driven improvement.

Estimated total compensation for this position:

91,000.00 – 105,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
