Job Responsibilities:

The Internal Communications Specialist (m/f/x) is responsible for supporting the overall coordination of the company’s communications strategy, execution, and daily activities. The role will primarily focus on content creation, leveraging communication tools, and executing communication campaigns by working closely with internal partners to promote employee engagement and understanding of Magna's culture and business goals. The position is located in Sailauf near Frankfurt and requires regular on-site presence while allowing for flexibility to work remotely.

Lead the complete process to plan, develop, and distribute Magna people stories across all internal communication channelsIdentify interviewees and oversee the story creation process with external partnersEnsure approvals and translations are completedMonitor and analyze metricsIdentify, create, and upload compelling content to Magna’s digital signage, reaching a global internal audience from the shop floor to corporate officesWork with the social media team to identify and collect content from regional resources appropriate for posting on Magna channelsPlan and execute global internal communications campaigns and German-speaking internal podcastsSupport regional town hall and employee meetings, including coordination of logistics, IT, marketing, and working with external vendorsTranslate and proofread internal & external communication materials (English, German; other languages are a plus) where appropriateMonitor and analyze communication metrics to measure the effectiveness of internal communication efforts and make recommendations for improvementWork with external vendors

Who we are looking for:

Bachelor's degree in Communications/Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field of study, or an equivalent combination of education and experience2+ years of relevant work experience or a combination of education and experience

Your preferred qualifications:

Strong in Microsoft Office programs and experience with CMS for online platforms (SharePoint) considered a plus; photo and video-editing software is an assetStrong written and verbal communication skills in German and English, other languages considered a plusExperience working with employees at all levels across a matrixed organizationAbility to work under pressure on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlinesAbility to maintain confidential information and data discreetlyResults-oriented, strong sense of urgency, collaborative, proactive, and flexibleExcellent interpersonal, facilitation, and project management skillsStrong planning and organizational skills with the proven ability to adapt to a dynamic and international project environment
