Job Title: Internal Communications Specialist
Job Description

The Sr. Specialist, Internal Communications plays a critical role in fostering effective communication and engagement within the organization. This individual will be responsible for supporting the Director of Internal Communications in developing and executing strategic internal communication initiatives to ensure alignment with strategic priorities and promote a culture of transparency and employee trust. Expertise in executing visually compelling communications while ensuring the delivery of priority key messages is essential.

ResponsibilitiesSupport the development and execution of comprehensive internal communication strategies.Develop and design engaging content for various internal communication channels, including monthly branded newsletters, branded email communications, SharePoint web pages, and PowerPoint presentations.Draft preliminary communication plans and packages to support cross-functional strategic communication initiatives.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and insights for communication initiatives, ensuring accuracy and relevance of content.Support the Director of Internal Communications in developing and executing all Quarterly All Hands Business Updates to Employees.Manage the editorial calendar for internal communications, ensuring timely delivery of all communications.Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of internal communication efforts by collecting success metrics and feedback to continuously improve strategies and tactics.Support the Director of Internal Communications on various projects related to employee engagement activations, including event coordination, consulting, communication support, and overall planning.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Graphic Design or related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in internal communications or related field, with a focus on strategic planning and execution.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, etc.), and SharePoint Technologies.Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and engaging employees through compelling content.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in public relations and corporate communication.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.Work Environment

This role involves a hybrid work environment, with in-office days from Tuesday through Thursday in Santa Monica.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $48.00/hr.
