We're looking for an Internal Communications Specialist to join our team, who lives for the weekly rhythm of business storytelling. You'll turn business strategy and updates into plain English bulletins, rally stakeholders around consistently, and make sure all our colleagues see the business updates in a clear and effective way.
This role will work on our regular internal comms and colleague recognition. You'll plan, draft and refine content to deliver key business messages, as well as updating our multiple communication platforms.
What you'll own:
Run our weekly "Team Talk" livestream. You'll script, shape and stage our weekly team talk, pulling together the talking points, speakers, visuals and recognition to land the week's headline messages. Maintain the comms calendar. You'll set and maintain the cadence, chase copy and keep stakeholders aligned so the right stories drop at the right time. Craft core business updates. Translate trading priorities, internal events and people news into clear communications for the whole business. Measure and Improve. Track open rates, survey feedback and colleague reactions, turning insight into data led decision making. Maintain Morrisons tone of voice. Keep every communication unmistakeably Morrisons, warm, down to earth and clear. About youWe're looking for someone who is not scared of deadlines and is able to work on a structured comms programme for a large scale, fast paced business. You'll be confident in copywriting, with strong attention to detail and the ability to translate key business information into 'plain English' comms for all our business units. You'll be thoughtful and conscientious, with a collaborative 'can do' attitude.
