Internal Communications Senior Analyst

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Internal Communications COE team at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in New York City, and it is a hybrid role with an expectation of working at least three days a week in the office.

As the Internal Communications Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the execution of strategic communications programs for our Marsh Global and Marsh McLennan Canada businesses. In this role, you will support the development of assets and campaigns end-to-end, specifically ensuring the content is engaging, of high quality, aligned to our brand and style, is delivered on time and reaches stakeholders using different channels and formats.

We will count on you to:

Support the execution, delivery, and activation of internal communications plans and assets using different channels and vehicles, including intranet content, emails, videos, town halls, and presentationsEnsure assets follow established best practices and are high quality, delivered on time, aligned to company brand and style; as relevant, ensure that enterprise, global and regional priority content is integrated, customized, and activated locally – in a measurable way – to reach target audiences effectivelyLeverage Microsoft Office/365 tools with ease. Understand, support and leverage internal platforms and tools in program execution: intranet (SharePoint), Dynamics, Viva Engage, Teams, Qumu, etc.Support the management of multiple projects in-flight; maintain project plans and calendars, track action items and follow up with stakeholders as neededSupport the planning and execution of internal events, including town halls, employee recognition programs, and employee engagement activitiesTrack and measure the effectiveness of communication programs, gathering data, feedback and insights to continuously improve strategies and messaging

What you need to have: 

Bachelor's degree; Marketing, Communications or Journalism preferred1-3 years of experience in corporate and/or internal communicationsStrong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results within deadlinesExcellent listening and written/verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise mannerProficiency in utilizing various communication mediums and platforms, including digital channels, social media, and multimedia content creationFamiliarity with digital communication and analytics tools and data-driven decision-making.High level of creativity, innovation, resourcefulness, and attention to detailHighly effective in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and able to absorb candid feedbackTechnical requirements: Proficient in all M365 applications (Outlook, PPT, Excel, Word, Teams)

All Marsh McLennan colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $56,400 to $112,800.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
