Position Summary

The Internal Communications Manager II at MultiCare serves as a communications expert in the development and execution of internal communications strategies. In this role, you will directly enhance the MultiCare culture by producing, creating and coordinating leadership communication materials across mediums for employees and internal audiences.

Responsibilities

You will create and develop content for a wide variety of communication vehicles, including memos, scripts, articles, reports, newsletters and presentations You will serve as an internal communication resource in support of to internal patients and initiatives across the system You will develop communication plans including audiences, key messages, mediums, timelines and deliverables You will participate in workgroups and committees as appropriate You will prepare materials and oversees production and distribution You will support long-term projects and organization-wide initiatives as a project team member

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in communication, journalism or related field of study Minimum seven (7) years of experience producing, planning, writing and editing communication content and materials Experience working with key stakeholders to support communication needs Minimum one (1) year of experience working in the health care field preferred Internal communications experience preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $87,818.00 - $126,381.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
