What this job involves:
The Internal Communications Manager for Capital Markets in EMEA and APAC will work closely with the Global Head of Capital Markets Communications to develop and deliver unified messaging across regions. The position requires strategic communication skills, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to create engaging content that translates complex financial topics into accessible information. The job entails cross-functional collaboration with various teams, including external communications and marketing, to ensure consistent messaging and amplify positive news. Key responsibilities include contributing to internal communications, representing regional interests in global initiatives, supporting senior leadership communications, and implementing company-wide initiatives within the Capital Markets context.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Report to and work with the Global Head of Capital Markets (CM) Communications to ensure unified delivery across the 2 regions (EMEA and APAC) and provide ‘bottom-up’ input from the business. Collaborative and proactive with strong stakeholder management skills, high attention to detail, and ability to deliver consistently under time pressure. Excellent written and verbal communicator who can drive consistent and engaging messaging, aligned to our business line strategy, across the region. Experience in financial services is preferred; candidates must be financially literate and capable of translating complex topics into engaging content. Work with other regional communications leads ensuring consistency of messaging across CM globally. Looking internally, partner with the external communications team to amplify positive news stories. Contribute to a OneJLL approach by: Leveraging enterprise-wide channels to deliver the CM internal communications strategy. Ensuring enterprise-wide campaigns are embedded into CM communications. Engaging and supporting country communications partners to ensure they are cascading the appropriate Capital Markets messaging to their local audiences. Partner with the Capital Markets marketing teams to ensure consistent messages are embedded within our campaigns and amplified via CM channels. Spotlights key roles & leadership across the business. Creates talking points and aligns to strategic appointments or areas to highlight. Work with Global CM team to input regional content into the quarterly CM newsletter. Includes financial results + people + clients + growth initiatives. Partnering with the global communications team to cascade key initiatives in line with our shared approach to communications across the enterprise (includes annual people survey, performance cycle, inclusion & belonging initiatives, key trainings, etc.)Support announcements for senior leadership team.Desired or preferred experience and technical skills:
Experience with in Real Estate and/or Financial Services sectors would be advantageous but not essential.
Experience working within international, matrixed organisations is also advantageous.
Working knowledge of Poppulo and SharePoint platforms
