Internal Communications Director - 15 months FTC Job ID 230391 Posted 31-Jul-2025 Service line Advisory Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Communications/Public Relations, Marketing Location(s) London - England - United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland **Internal Communications Director – 15 month FTC** **London based** **Immediate start** **About the role** As a CBRE Internal Communications Director, you will work with the Head of Communications to create and coordinate the internal communications programme across the UK and Continental Europe, partnering with leadership to translate key business messages and initiatives into engaging campaigns. You will manage a small team and work closely with communication colleagues across Europe. This job is part of the Communications Team, which encompasses both internal and external communication roles. The position will be based in our Henrietta House office in London’s West End, with a minimum requirement to be in the office of two days per week. You will report into the Head of Communications, UK&I/Continental Europe and have one direct report of an Internal Communications Senior Consultant, plus management of three apprentices. **What you will be doing:** + Working with leadership in the UK& Ireland and Continental Europe to translate business plans into clear, engaging messages, targeted at CBRE’s different internal audiences (e.g. Senior leadership, Graduates etc). + Support change initiatives and transformation programmes with comms plans that resonate with the audience and engage our people. + Prepare comms plans for internal – sometimes sensitive and confidential – announcements. + Develop creative campaigns to motivate employees and positively impact employee engagement. + Manage and create content for our suite of comms channels, including newsletters, internal screens, monthly calls, conferences, Town Halls and the intranet. + Advise communications colleagues across Continental Europe around global and local campaigns and running a monthly call with this group to help them share best practice and develop their communications. + Run ongoing communications for Henrietta House, ensuring our UK HQ is running smoothly, in line with the vision created on re-opening. + Line management responsibilities for a team of four: 1 x Internal Communications Senior Consultant and 3 x Marketing and Communications Apprentices, at different stages of the apprenticeship route. **What you will need:** + Excellent stakeholder management skills and a track record of working confidently with senior leaders + Previous internal communications experience from large, global matrix organisation + Line management experience + Exceptional written and verbal communicator, able to articulate a complex narrative concisely + Change management experience + Experience with Sharepoint and the Microsoft 365 suite of tools and confidence with internal email software + High levels of energy and enthusiasm with creativity and lateral thinking in all interactions + Excellent attention to detail and highly organised + Fast learner, an ability to adapt to a fast paced environment and work under pressure to meet deadlines quickly + A self-starter, able to work independently and proactively at all times + Effective time management skills, able to manage multiple priorities and projects concurrently + An impressive team player, who likes to work within a collaborative environment + Process-driven and a commitment to setting an example of best working practice + Committed to the improvement of diversity throughout the workforce **Working at CBRE** When you join CBRE you will have the support and resources of a global firm where an entrepreneurial mind-set is encouraged.
