ContiTech, a division of Continental AG, is seeking a highly skilled Internal Auditor for Special Investigations to join our team in Hannover, Germany. In this critical role, you will be responsible for conducting complex audits and special investigations to ensure the integrity of our financial operations and compliance with regulatory standards.
+ Lead and execute special investigations and fraud examinations across ContiTech's global operations
+ Develop and implement risk-based audit plans focusing on high-risk areas and potential fraudulent activities
+ Utilize advanced data analytics tools to identify patterns, anomalies, and potential risks in financial and operational data
+ Conduct in-depth interviews with employees at all levels to gather information and evidence
+ Evaluate internal control systems and recommend improvements to prevent fraud and enhance operational efficiency
+ Prepare comprehensive audit reports and present findings to senior management and the board of directors
+ Collaborate with legal counsel and external authorities when necessary during investigations
+ Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks in the automotive sector
+ Mentor and guide junior auditors in investigation techniques and best practices
+ University degree in business administration, IT, engineering or related field
+ Several years of experience in internal auditing or a related field, with a focus on special investigations or fraud examinations
+ Advanced knowledge of auditing techniques, risk assessment methodologies, and internal control evaluation
+ Strong investigative skills and ability to conduct complex analysis
+ Excellent report writing and presentation skills
+ Knowledge of compliance standards and business laws and regulations
+ Fluent in English and German (written and spoken)
+ Extensive experience in international business environment and intercultural sensitivity
+ Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
