Description We are looking for an Internal Auditor to join our team on a contract basis in Chino, California. In this role, you will play a key part in managing and executing audit procedures to ensure compliance and accuracy within financial and operational processes. Responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive internal audits to assess financial accuracy and operational compliance. • Analyze audit findings and prepare detailed reports with actionable recommendations. • Develop and execute audit programs tailored to organizational needs and industry standards. • Collaborate with departments to ensure adherence to established policies and procedures. • Assist in the annual internal audit process, ensuring all required documentation and evaluations are completed. • Identify potential risks and provide insights to enhance internal controls. • Monitor the implementation of corrective actions based on audit results. • Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to maintain effective audit processes. • Support management in achieving organizational goals through effective risk management and compliance initiatives. Requirements • Strong understanding of internal audit principles, practices, and methodologies. • Knowledge of financial auditing and ability to analyze financial statements and data. • Familiarity with audit programs and tools used for assessing organizational compliance. • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. • Effective communication skills to present findings and collaborate with teams. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. • Prior experience in auditing within the utilities or infrastructure industry is a plus.
