Internal Audit - Investment Management Audit, Associate, Hong Kong

We're seeking someone to join our team as a business auditor to provide audit coverage of our Investment Management business activities in Asia Pacific and Japan.

In the Audit division, we provide senior management an objective and indepen

dent assessment of the Firm's internal control environment for risk management and governance. This is an Associate level position within the Internal Audit Department.

What you'll do in the role:
- Develop a strong understanding of business processes, keep informed of industry and regulatory developments, and effectively apply the information when planning assurance activities
- Execute a wide range of assurance activities (e.g., audits, continuous monitoring, closure verification)
- Understand and adopt new audit tools and techniques
- Develop clear and concise messages regarding risk and business impact within relevant coverage area
- Identify and leverage data to incorporate into analysis of coverage area
- Collaborate with a wide range of internal stakeholders to build effective working relationships and to execute on team deliverables
- Effectively manage multiple deliverables while delivering high-quality work What you'll bring to the role:
- Understanding of audit principles, tools and processes (e.g., risk assessments, planning, testing, reporting and continuous monitoring)
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and adapt messages to audience
- Ability to identify patterns and anomalies in data
- A commitment to practicing inclusive behaviors
- Willingness to solicit and provide feedback to further develop self and peers
= Understanding of Investment Management business and supporting functions processes and key regulations relevant to coverage area
- Demonstrate strong risk and control mindset, professional skepticism, project management skills and data analytics skill, with a drive for innovation
- Fluency in written and spoken English. Chinese and/or Japanese language skills will be an added advantage.
- At least 2 years' relevant experience in audit or 1st or 2nd line of defense control functions (e.g. risk management, compliance, or operational risk) would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
- Bachelor degree and relevant professional qualifications (e.g. CPA, CIA, CFA, etc.)
