System One is seeking an experienced Internal Audit Analyst for a Tulsa based organization. This role plays a key part in strengthening the organization’s control environment by conducting risk-based audits, evaluating compliance, and supporting the development of audit strategies. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, knowledge of audit standards, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in developing and executing the annual audit plan.
Conduct risk-based internal audits across the organization.
Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, policies, and compliance with regulations.
Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, recommendations, and management responses.
Perform follow-up audits to monitor remediation of issues.
Utilize data analytics tools to detect trends, identify risks, and improve audit efficiency.
Support the development of standardized audit procedures and risk assessment tools.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
CPA or CIA certification preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
Strong understanding of internal auditing standards and practices.
Proficient in auditing tools, accounting software, and data analytics platforms.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of healthcare billing and reimbursement processes (Medicare/Medicaid) preferred.
