Overview Our ISD intern program offers college students an opportunity to gain first-hand experience in the financial sector, while assisting us in providing the high-quality support our members deserve. To be eligible for this position, the candidate must be enrolled in an accredited university and willing to learn and combine theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience while developing their professional skills. *Please clearly indicate your degree program and expected graduation timeline on your resume. Please note we are only looking at students enrolled in IT-related degree programs! Responsibilities + Performs work supporting the assigned IT group - duties may vary depending on assignment. + Applies knowledge gained from the degree program in day-to-day duties/responsibilities + May receive guidance and direction from management and/or senior-level staff + Leverage technical knowledge and skill. + Works within established standards, change control, policies, and procedures + Provides exceptional customer service + Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications + Ability to present findings and conclusions clearly and concisely + Ability to exercise initiative, produce desired results, and achieve objectives + Effective attention to detail + Effective research, analytical, and problem-solving skills + Practical verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including skills in negotiating and persuading others + Experience that demonstrates a high degree of maturity, objectivity, tact, integrity, and sound judgment + Ability to apply sound judgment in analyzing and organizing problems + Effective planning, organizational, and multi-tasking skills + Ability to work independently and effectively as a member of a team with a cooperative, positive attitude + Experience with PCs and related software such as Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, etc.) + Experience using Microsoft Teams for communication, meetings, and project coordination is essential. + The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing shared documents and workflows within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. + Ability to troubleshoot and support users in Microsoft Teams and related Microsoft 365 tools Desired: + Must be entering Sophomore or Junior year + Experience with troubleshooting and/or telephony + Knowledge of Security Frameworks to assist with Vulnerability remediation + Introductory level knowledge of cloud technology About Us Navy Federal provides much more than a job.
