Micron’s Technology & Products Group (TPG) Industrial Engineering team drives innovation and efficiency across our global research and development fabs. We prioritize improving factory operations by using data-driven solutions, advanced analytics, and thoughtful analysis.

Position Overview

As a TPG Global Industrial Engineer Intern, you will work on high-impact projects that enhance the performance of one of the most complex fab environments in the world. This internship offers hands-on experience with large-scale data sets, advanced visualization tools, and real-world problem solving in a highly automated manufacturing setting.

ResponsibilitiesIdentify key performance indicators to measure R&D program successExtract and analyze planning data from large data sourcesBuild dashboards and reports using Tableau and other visualization toolsCreate infographics to communicate insights in a clear and engaging formatMinimum QualificationsCurrently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field, with equivalent experience consideredProficiency in SQL, Python, or similar programming languages for data extractionStrong understanding of supply chain and manufacturing operationsExcellent time management and ability to work independentlyAdvanced communication and presentation skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience in project or program managementProficiency in Excel, Tableau, or other data visualization softwareAbility to present technical information to diverse audiencesStrong data intuition and ability to translate data into actionable insightsExpected graduation after the internship timeframe
