We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Intern to join our Ravenna, Ohio supply chain team for the summer. This internship will provide hands-on experience in logistics, shipping, and inventory management. The intern will assist in various supply chain operations, including managing Bills of Materials (BOM), Bills of Lading (BOL), and supporting inventory management processes. This is an excellent opportunity for students looking to gain practical experience in supply chain management and logistics within a fast-paced environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities + Logistics Support: + Assist in coordinating shipping schedules and logistics operations. + Support the preparation and tracking of Bills of Lading (BOL) for outgoing shipments. + Collaborate with freight carriers to ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods. + Inventory Management: + Help maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory audits. + Monitor stock levels and assist in replenishment processes to avoid stockouts. + Support the implementation of inventory management best practices. + BOM Management: + Assist in the creation and maintenance of Bills of Materials (BOM) for various products. + Work with cross-functional teams to ensure BOM accuracy and availability of materials. + Data Analysis and Reporting: + Collect and analyze supply chain data to identify trends and areas for improvement. + Prepare reports and presentations on logistics performance metrics and inventory status. + Cross-Functional Collaboration: + Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales teams to ensure alignment in supply chain activities. + Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements. Qualifications + Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). + Familiarity with supply chain software (e.g., ERP systems) is a plus. + Previous internship or coursework related to supply chain, logistics, or inventory management is preferred but not required Personal Attributes: + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Detail-oriented with a strong ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. + Self-motivated and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
