Job Description:

Internship Duration: 06 months 

Airbus India Group Private Limited is looking for an intern to join the Materials, Processes and Tests team to provide support for developing an Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) system for ultrasonic testing for improving accuracy and efficiency of production parts

Key responsibilities

CAD Manipulation using CATIA v5 or Solidworks

Preparing the 3D for Virtual Reality using Pixyz or similar tools

Building Virtual Reality model using Unity or Unreal or other Game Engine

Modeling Kinematics to enable interaction with the Product in Virtual Reality

Package it as a Standalone application after adding basic UI

Defines the Product Roadmap, Sprints, release plan

Develop AR/VR-based visualization tools to assist ultrasonic testing.

Integrate real-time ultrasonic scan data with predefined scan plans.

Implement interactive 3D overlays for inspection tracking.

Collaborate with engineers to test and validate the system in a production environment.

Document development and user guides

Be proactive and innovative to improve the ways of working. Ex: bring innovative design solutions and technologies

Key skills and qualifications

Knowledge of Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) development.

Experience with AR/VR development platforms such as Unity, Unreal Engine, or ARKit/ARCore.

CAD modeling

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C#, or C++.

Understanding of 3D modeling, rendering, and visualization techniques.

Familiarity with sensor fusion, LiDAR, and machine vision is a plus.

Basic knowledge of composite materials

Interpersonal skills.

Interested towards Future technologies
