Are you a marketing student who loves music and gaming? And do you want to work for cool brands like JBL? Then read on. Because HARMAN is looking for an enthusiastic and inquisitive marketing intern to join the Marketing Communication team.
The Marketing Communication team oversees all EMEA marketing assets across various product categories, working closely with the EMEA marketing and e-commerce teams to collaboratively build a strategic communications landscape for successful product launches.
Joining our team means working in an international environment alongside experienced marketers who provide mentorship and guidance. At HARMAN, every day brings something new. We offer a dynamic, energetic workplace where you can learn and grow. This internship has a minimum duration of six months, with a preference for candidates who can commit to up to 12 months.
What You Will Do:Endless learning opportunities: Dive into hands-on experiences that enhance your skills and deepen your understanding of marketing communications across multiple product categories.Coordinating marketing assets: Play a key role in supporting the coordination of assets for new product launches. Your input will help improve communication and streamline asset management within our cross-functional teams.Experience with digital asset management (DAM): Gain practical experience using Widen, our digital asset management tool, to organize and oversee brand assets.Local impact: Assist in localizing a wide range of communication materials—from product literature and videos to POS assets—ensuring they resonate with diverse markets.Collaboration with creative team: Work closely with our in-house design specialists and external agencies to bring creative ideas to life while maintaining our brand’s global consistency.Creative development for NPI Launches: Support the creation of exciting new assets alongside the Marketing Communication Lead for New Product Introductions, bringing fresh ideas into each launch.Sample coordination with Product Marketing: Collaborate with the Product Marketing Manager to manage product samples, gaining insights into the hands-on aspects of product marketing.Comprehensive MarCom team Support: Be an essential part of the team by supporting various marketing communication initiatives, gaining a holistic view of our operations.The above activities are examples of activities that you may encounter in the marketing communication team. You will also have the opportunity to work on one or more projects. For example, helping with upcoming events or media campaigns. This depends on your personal interest and the currently available projects.
What You Need to Be Successful: University Student (preferably at the end of Bachelor/Master) specialization: Marketing/Communication.Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint.)Fluent in English.Strong communication skills and a real team player.You work in a structured and organized manner.You hold your own in a fast-paced work environment.You are pragmatic and result oriented.Knowledge of and/or interest in electronics is a plus.You are a hard worker and a go-getter.You like fun and a good working atmosphere.What we offer:
