Project Title:
Smart Diagnosis System for Reclaim Wafer Traceability


Project Description:
This project focuses on developing a Smart Diagnosis System to enhance traceability and operational efficiency in reclaim wafer management. The system will enable accurate capture and linkage of wafer scribe data to container identifiers during transfers, allowing seamless tracking through vendor assignment and reclaim outcomes. The aim is to improve reclaim yield and reduce operational costs through intelligent automation and data integration.


Objective of the Project:
To design and prototype a system that automates data capture and analysis for wafer traceability, enabling data-driven insights and process optimization.


Project Scope:

Prototype a traceability system using barcode scanning and image recognition

Apply data analytics tools such as artificial intelligence, structured query language, and visualization platforms

Analyze reclaim performance by wafer type and vendor

Document findings and propose scalable solutions


Learning Opportunities:

Hands-on experience with automation technologies and data analytics

Exposure to semiconductor manufacturing and reclaim processes

Development of problem-solving, collaboration, and technical interpersonal skills

Understanding of project lifecycle and milestone planning
 

Deliverable:
A functional prototype of the Smart Diagnosis System, documentation of findings, and a presentation of recommendations for broader implementation.

Skillset Required:

Basic knowledge of Python, SQL or data visualization tools

Interest in artificial intelligence, machine vision, or manufacturing systems

Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail


Course of Interests:
Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Manufacturing Systems, or related fields
