DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Position will be based at Parflex’s divisional headquarters in Ravenna, Ohio.
+ Will be responsible to manage, and complete projects assigned by Engineers and direct Supervisor in a safe and timely manner.
+ Participate on new product development and problem-solving teams.
+ Work and communicate with product, quality and manufacturing engineers.
+ Provide support to product engineers and lab personal performing tasks that include sample preparation, testing, and equipment improvements and troubleshooting.
+ Utilize computer software to generate engineering reports.
+ Complete any other similar or associated duties necessary to accomplish job objectives, or as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
+ Must be actively pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical or Polymer Engineering.
+ Strong analytical, mechanical conceptualization, and problem-solving capabilities.
+ Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
+ Ability to quickly learn new computer applications.
+ Detail oriented individual with demonstrated organizational skills.
+ Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
+ Ability to work independently (with minimal supervision) and within a team environment.
+ Must have a desire to continuously learn, grow, and develop skills and knowledge.
