Job Summary
Dominion Energy is offering an exciting internship opportunity for students interested in cybersecurity and compliance within the electric utility industry. As an intern in the Electric Transmission Cybersecurity & Compliance team, you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting initiatives that protect critical infrastructure and ensure regulatory compliance. This role is ideal for students pursuing degrees in cybersecurity, information systems, or related fields.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with weekly cyber vulnerability assessments, including reviewing asset lists, obtaining substation diagrams, and participating in onsite inspections. Evaluate departmental processes to identify procedural gaps and assess operational risks. Support the development of data integrity processes across multiple platforms. Troubleshoot data collection issues related to field technologies such as handheld devices and inspection software. Analyze engineering documents to verify technical schemes and asset configurations. Perform data analysis on asset information and historical records to support engineering studies and compliance documentation. Stay informed on updates to the ETFO Cyber Compliance Program and evolving regulatory requirements. Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience• Planning, organizational, and project management skills with the ability to work on multiple project teams simultaneously.

• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality.
• Ability to manage varied duties and prioritize effectively.
• Proficiency in computer applications and data systems.
