The intern is responsible for supporting the production of high-quality materials for IDT’s production labs that drive significant impact to the organization.

This position reports to the Hazwani Ismail and is part of the Manufacturing & Operations Team located in Singapore and will be an on-site role (Day shift: 10am to 7pm).

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Uses a variety of lab equipment process products including limited maintenance, troubleshooting activities, and Chemical Synthesis of short strands of DNA (Oligonucleotides).Performing cleaning and recycling of plates used in production, post synthesis processing and QC sampling & Yield quantification.

The essential requirements of the job include:

NITEC / Diploma in chemical processing / science related field or an equivalent combination of education & experience required. Must be comfortable working with chemicals and follow proper safety and handling instructions.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Good to have a basic knowledge of Microsoft office applications (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint)
