The intern is responsible for supporting the production of high-quality materials for IDT’s production labs that drive significant impact to the organization.

This position reports to the Hazwani Ismail and is part of the Manufacturing & Operations Team located in Singapore and will be an on-site role (Day shift: 10am to 7pm).

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Utilize bulk chemicals (up to 200L per tank) to produce all mixtures and formulations required for oligo manufacturing.Changes and dispenses materials (hazardous waste management) for production, as necessary.Prepare materials according to documented procedures using standard lab equipment. Perform decontamination of equipment and workspace.

The essential requirements of the job include:

NITEC / Diploma in chemical processing / science related field or an equivalent combination of education & experience required. Must be comfortable working with chemicals and follow proper safety and handling instructions.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Good to have a basic knowledge of computer software (e.g. Microsoft Excel)
