About the Team:

The bioanalytical laboratory consists of three analytical platforms: biopharmaceuticals (large molecules), chemical drugs (small molecules), and immunology/immunotoxicology. It supports the entire spectrum of drug development—from early-stage research and preclinical pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) studies to comprehensive clinical PK/PD evaluations—and facilitates global regulatory submissions for both domestic and international pharmaceutical companies. The lab is certified under OECD, FDA, and NPMA GLP standards.

Internship Assignment Summary:

Learns how to document work and Maintains study documentation and laboratory records.

Learns to use, sets-up, maintains, operates and performs routine and non-routine maintenance on general equipment. Including problem identification and resolution.

Performs quality control review of data.

Learns to plan signed workload on a daily basis and effectively schedule multiple assignments.

Assist in logging in and keeping track of standards, matrix, special reagents and study samples by electronic sample management system.

performs routine instrument calibration and maintenance on general instruments

Tracks the usage of lab consumables and orders them.

Promotes a cohesive team environment.

Learns to plan assigned workload on a daily basis and effectively schedule multiple assignments.

Maintains a clean and safe laboratory work environment.

Participates in client visits as needed, assists in communicating technical information.

Participates in process improvement initiatives.

Learn how to organize experiment document, and how archive the documents.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education/Qualifications/Skills:

Bachelor of Science/Arts (BS/BA) degree in chemistry or related scientific field

Familiar with the use of standard laboratory equipment.

Basic knowledge of computers and software programs.
