Intern Analytical Chemistry

The Scent Design & Innovation (ST&I) team in Hilversum is involved in managing and running technical projects for the Fabric Care category that are either to support innovation proactive project, building data knowledge & insights and to develop and improve IFF tools. The team accompany IFF digital transformation, collaborating with multi-disciplinary expert teams to bring scientific support to consumer desired scent solution design.

Where You’ll Make a Difference

Contribute to a better understanding of fragrance performance in fabric care applications.Planning and carrying out various experiments and performing GC-MS and HPLC-DAD analysesEngaging in technical studies and method developmentConducting bibliographic research and staying ahead with technological monitoringInterpreting results, writing detailed reports, and presenting your findings to our dynamic internal teams

What Makes You the Right Fit

Good knowledge of analytical, organic and physical chemistryExperience in performing chemical analysis using GC-MS or HPLCPassionate about scienceProactive, Flexible, easy-going and a team playerProficiency in English (reading, speaking, and writing)
