May be required to obtain a security clearance. + The Development Operations Organization is seeking a highly motivated engineering student to join the Advanced Measurements Research and Development group as a summer intern at the Middletown, Connecticut facility. + This position provides challenging assignments that support the development of new measurement techniques and diagnostic capabilities used to verify the structural integrity of gas turbine engines. + Depending on the assignment, responsibilities may include instrumentation installations, sensor application development, hardware review, engine assembly assistance, bench testing, CAD Tool development, and/or report/process generation. **What You Will Learn** + Engineering Interns at Pratt & Whitney work on challenging, meaningful, and impactful projects across our business. + Our intern program seeks to help you develop an understanding of the aerospace industry and learn about our company and its operations. **Qualifications You Must Have** + Enrolled in a degree program in mechanical, aerospace, electrical, computer engineering, or a related field + Minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA **Qualifications We Prefer** + Previous engineering intern experience at an aerospace company + Experience with testing, manufacturing, and technical group projects **What We Offer** + Relocation will be offered for those who qualify. + On the job training provided. **Learn More & Apply Now!** This position is classified as **onsite** . This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
