Job Description

As a Support Intern, you will engage with many of Rockwell Automation's customers across a variety of industries. Your mission is to support our customers to ensure that systems are maintained and functioning properly.

Your Responsibilities:

Support our customers and field personnel with troubleshooting and resolving customer issues in person or by phone, chat, and email channelsExperience the responsibilities of a Support Engineer in Motions & Controls to learn how they approach troubleshooting in their respective area of workManage customer interactions by setting expectations, capturing the issue, resolution and steps taken to troubleshoot, and following up with customers in a timely mannerManage electrical/automation projects with directionUpdate and draft documentation with solutions to commonly experienced problems to improve customer satisfaction.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

Active enrollment in a four year or advanced degree program at an accredited universityLegal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

Cumulative GPA of 3.3 or above with a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering major in progressExperience quickly acquiring new information and skillsExcellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skillsExperience collaborating with diverse groups, including clients, peers, and managers

For this role, the hourly compensation is from $20 - $32. Our benefits for the US can be found here. Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, knowledge, education, and experience
