Responsibilities:

You will be part of the global team that develops and manages the state-of-the-art, in-house developed application used in BASF plants around the worldYou will assist the Application Operations Engineering and Test Automation teams based in Kuala LumpurYou will gain knowledge of key functions in Application Management and Quality AssuranceYou will review and refine application requirements while preparing comprehensive test scenariosYou will analyse test outcomes, including errors, bugs, and usability issuesYou are required to understand user requirements and create manual test cases to validate themYou are required to gather and compile data to generate detailed test reports and documentation

 

Requirements:

Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Business Informatics, or a related fieldAble to commit to a full-time internship for a duration of 5 to 6 monthsPossess a growth mindset with a strong curiosity to learn and improvePassionate about Information Technology and DigitalizationStrong verbal and written communication skills for a collaborative team environment Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies as requiredDemonstrate good analytical and problem-solving skillsCapable of completing tasks with minimal supervisionExperienced in software development, particularly in web and mobile applications Experienced in application operations supportGood understanding of testing, the software development lifecycle, and agile methodologiesFamiliarity with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, and Postman is an added advantageAble to identify coverage deficiencies and improve test coverageAble to think critically, structured, and organised
