About the Team

Sales Planning & Development Team play an important role in Sales Organization, the team will partner with the sales leaders to formulate high level sales strategy, develop tactical plan for sales products and promotion strategy, plus render support to the fulfilment logistics, communications, measurement & evaluation of different sales campaign.

About the Role

The Sales Planning & Development Intern will support the Sales Planning & Development team, where you will be given an opportunity to learn the travel trade landscape in the Southeast Asia Market, end-to-end business process of the Disney Cruise Line Product in Asia, and experience to organize the travel trade events within the region.

This intern role will be supporting the team on both B2B and B2C Travel Trade events – from development to execution – and Trade Sales Customer Relationship Management (CRM) development and management.

The role will be involved in the project management of the assigned event(s), playing a key role in supporting the team to drive the event(s) from initiation to closure. The intern will also be responsible for supporting the team in ensuring seamless integration and alignment of effort from internal stakeholders and external partners.

The intern will support the team in the development, implementation, and ongoing management of the CRM system tailored for Trade Sales. This role also is involved in ensuring the CRM platform is able to supports sales strategies, enhances customer engagement, and drives data-driven decision-making.

In addition, the intern will be part of the project team to work closely with Sales team, Marketing team, Revenue Management and Travel Operations team to build the workflow across teams to increase efficiency and collaboration.

This role will report directly to Manager, Sales Planning and Development based in Singapore to support the DCL SEA team.

Responsibilities:

Project Management for Travel Trade Events

Plan and coordinate the travel trade events, and manage the interdependencies in support of specific business objectivesCollaborate and liaise with key stakeholders, such as event organizers, venue providers, Travel Trade partners and internal lines of businesses (LOBs) to ensure operations run smoothlySupport the team in managing project timeline

Workflow Development Project

Define the project scope and set the goals together with the project teamIn-partnership with internal partners to identify process steps and document the process

CRM Management & Optimization

Maintain and continuously improve the CRM system to ensure usability, performance, and alignment with business needsMonitor data quality and integrity; implement data governance practices.

Requirements:

Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree/diploma in Tourism and Hospitality, Events Management or a related fieldAttention to detail, time management and follow up/follow through skills requiredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge or interest in event management-related and project management fieldsStrong team player; possesses good interpersonal skills with a high level of enthusiasm in collaborating in cross functional teamsAbility to prioritize workload to meet competing deadlines and mange stakeholder expectationRequires excellent organizational and multitasking skills.  Self-starter that needs minimal supervision in motivating himself/herself, always looking for opportunities to contribute to our campaigns and overall projects.
