Your New Role...
The post-production internship will be a 3 months assignment, with the opportunity to extend, supporting CNN’s Features content & potential breaking news.
The selected candidate will work with the CNN APAC Production/Video Editing team, supporting particularly the Editors and Feature Producer and in all post-production matters.
The intern will get to work within a creative & intensive news production environment. The candidate should have a keen understanding of global news & content features of CNNI. They should have proven experience in editing software and a keen interest and understanding of film production.
Your Role Accountabilities...
Assisting with video editing of feature and news content
Media management of programs and raw footages
Assisting the editors with music sourcing, organizing edit projects and prepping footages
Qualifications/Experience
Ability to work to deadline and under time pressure
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Strong ability with editing software such as adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop and After Effects.
Must be fluent in English.
Must be passionate about content marketing, creative production, and visual storytelling
Must be currently enrolled in a university.
Must be eligible to work in HK without sponsorship. All international students will be required to provide documentation of proper visa paperwork prior to starting the internship; Interns are paid at minimum wage.
Candidates must have the right of abode in Hong Kong or hold a valid student visa and No Objection Letter (NOL) from the Hong Kong Immigration Department.
Candidates are required to commit for a minimum duration of 3 months, starting from May/June 2025.
