Responsibilities:

You will be part of the global team that develops and manages the state-of-the-art, in-house developed application used in BASF plants around the worldYou will assist the Data Engineering and Application Operations Engineering teamsYou will gain hands-on experience in SQL/database development and ETL tasksYou will help monitor and document relevant initiatives and processes

 

Requirements:

Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a related fieldAble to commit to a full-time internship for a duration of 5 to 6 monthsPossess a growth mindset with a strong curiosity to learn and improveFundamental understanding of SQL programming and ETL processesEnthusiastic about exploring data engineering topicsBasic knowledge of SQL (SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, JOINs)Passion for problem-solving and developing creative solutionsStrong analytical skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectivelyTeam player with excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in EnglishProficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially ExcelExperience in software development, particularly in web and mobile applicationsSolid understanding of the development lifecycle and agile methodologiesFamiliarity with PostgreSQL databases in an added advantageSkilled in data analysis and writing SQL queries to retrieve, manipulate, and update data within databases
