What You’ll Do:

As an intern at U.S. Xpress, you will assist the functional area in performance of tasks and duties while receiving exciting developmental opportunities and gaining hands-on experience. You will assist the Accounting team with performance of tasks and duties including the below:

Assisting the department in the performance of duties. Performing special projects relevant to the area of internship. Preparing (or assists in preparing) select month-end journal entries as well as select balance sheet and income statement reconciliations Inputting data into excel and/or various operating systems such as journal entries, fixed asset activity, etc. Testing department or area processes to ensure controls or methods work as designed. Reviewing and evaluating USX processes and methods against educational knowledge and providing recommendations for improvements.
