Job Description Insight Global is looking for an Intermodal Dispatcher to join a leading 3rd party logistics company in Edison, NJ. Below are the responsibilities:  Dispatch all drivers (local and OTR) daily  Manage ALL Driver staff a. address concerns with management as needed b. monitor performance c. provide positive reinforcement  Monitor EOBR continuously   Monitor HOS compliance and identify errors and notify manager of log discrepancies   Annotate accessorial charges as required  Manage containers on premise  Manage Import containers to avoid demurrage  Monitor Export containers for cut-offs  Efficiently manage transloads to increase productivity  Coordinate transloads with warehouse personnel  Work with port personnel to resolve issues/conflicts  Communicate progress with customers  Schedule work load according to LMD and customers needs  Ensure document control annotating accessorial charges as required  Work closely with receiving personnel on ALL freight coming into LMD  Schedule periodic maintenance and mechanical needs with Ryder/Penske and inform safety group  Regarding Equipment: a. Communicate any issue b. Notify of loaner issues c. Notify correct personnel when maintenance is scheduled  Monitor customer reports daily We are a company committed to creating inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
