Job Summary:

The Intermediate Solder Assembler will perform a variety of tasks relating to production operations on electronics and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.

 

Job Responsibilities:

Install, assemble and inspect electronic components per documented work instructions. Interpret job routers, written instructions, wiring diagrams and schematic drawings for assembly of electronics. Demonstrate professionalism, leadership and initiatives on a daily basis. Perform a variety of inspections to ensure assemblies meet/exceed IPC standards. Perform pass downs with outgoing/incoming shifts. Use hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws. Disassemble and re-assemble, modify, rework assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions. Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Must have meticulous hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Experience with board mount, die attach, soldering, or mechanical assembly. Knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic discharge) procedures. Must be detail oriented and able to multitask. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written. Must be able to work a flexible schedule in order to meet production and customer needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

Two or more years of manufacturing experience. Electronics assembly and inspection experience. IPC-610 experience. High School Diploma or GED and 2 years related experience
