Intermediate Power BI & SQL Analyst

*This role does not have a visa sponsorship option; it also requires 1-2 days a week working from the office in Downtown Toronto** This is a contract role until the end of the year 2025 with a strong possibility of further extension**

Here’s What You’ll Be Doing:

Optimize Power BI dashboards with a focus on usability, performance, flexibility, and standardization. Support the design of data architecture structures to support BI initiatives Assist in the development of business intelligence reports and operational analytics capabilities, including but not limited to: trends and projections of operational performance indicators (e.g., resource consumption, utilization) Operational data quality analysis (e.g., data quality metrics, metrics, root cause analysis in areas such as customer).

 

Here's What You Need:

At least experience as a BI Developer or Analyst of minimum of 5 yrs experience Experience in data warehouse design (e.g., dimensional modeling) In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (extract, transform, load) framework, Knowledge of SQL queries and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Proven ability to take initiative and be innovative Analytical and problem-solving skills Experience creating Power BI reports based on business needs with linked content, in-depth analytics, and nested parameters.
