What is the opportunity?
The Creative Team is hiring an Intermediate Copywriter to support our creative services. This person must be able to conceptualize and execute insightful ideas, advertising, communications and other written content for digital, social, and integrated brand campaigns.
What will you do?
Conceptualize and craft strategic creative campaigns, advertising headlines, marketing messages, brand tone of voice, social and digital, emails, website content, landing pages, OOH, video scripts, and more
Collaborate with Art Directors & Designers to execute campaigns and digital solutions
Crafting concept statements, insights, presentation flows, and storytelling
Give direction and contribute on set – photography & video shoots
Share best practices and build strong relationships with marketing and other communication groups across RBC
Must haves
4+ years of experience in copywriting at a creative agency
A portfolio that demonstrates your writing skills and conceptual thinking
Experience with both pre-production and post production processes
Ability to write for multiple audiences and clients
Ability to think big picture strategy, ideate on ‘the big idea’, and create quality work that answers the brief
Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast paced environment
Strong communication and presentation skills are essential to articulate ideas, solutions, and recommendations
Ability to work in a collaborative, supportive manner with cross-functional teams
Nice to haves
Experience working in a start-up environment
Experience working on brands in heavily regulated industries (finance, pharma, healthcare)
