Your Key Responsibilities - Technical design for bridges, culverts, retaining walls and foundation engineering assignments - Analysis, design, preparation & delivery of tender packages, visual inspections, report preparation, cost estimating, construction engineering services - Business development and proposal preparation " Your Capabilities and Credentials - Proven ability to deliver bridge design and analysis projects from start to finish - Excellent report writing skills - Familiarity with NBDTI and NS Department of Public Works design standards and project delivery is an asset - Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment - Self-motivated with a strong commitment to teamwork - Experience with CSiBridge / SAP2000 / MIDAS Civil / SFrame / AutoCAD and similar software is an asset - Experience with D/B or P3 projects is an asset Education and Experience - P.Eng. designation with APEGNB or the ability to transfer - 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably within the Bridge Consulting Engineering industry - Master’s Degree or Doctor of Philosophy in Structural Engineering is an asset Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
