As an Interior Quality Ford Champ, you will be responsible for learning and applying to conduct quality analysis for warranty issues for Interior Trim subsystems, you will support engineers to address technical challenges in body interior systems and components and support the team in reaching our quality objectives each year (R/1000, warranty spend, cost per repair reduction).
What you'll do:
Support and perform detailed quality analysis to verify vehicle quality performance vs. objectiveCreate and manage quality reports to provide status to upper management (Reading claims and verbatims from multiple data sources and interpreting/presenting findings during any number of quality reviews )Utilize quality tools to create priorities and aid in the problem-solving process.Interact with the design teams (D&R - Design & Release), VRTs, PVTs, FCSDs, CAD (Computer Assisted Design), and VE (Vehicle Engineering) to improve quality.Keep track of the Body Interior quality projects (including R/1000, warranty spend, cost per repair reduction)Be a ‘student of the process’ and a ‘student of the data’, fostering focus and understanding in support of Doing what Matters and Having a Bias for Action
