Job Description
We are seeking an innovative and collaborative Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will collaborate on the design and documentation of commercial interiors, develop and present design solutions that align with client needs and project goals, and prepare drawings, presentations, and specifications using industry-standard software. You will manage multiple projects efficiently, maintain clear communication with internal teams, clients, and vendors, and contribute to design research, materials selection, and space planning.
ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with team members on the design and documentation of commercial interiors.Develop and present design solutions that align with client needs and project goals.Prepare drawings, presentations, and specifications using industry-standard software.Manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining clear communication with internal teams, clients, and vendors.Contribute to design research, materials selection, and space planning.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in Interior Design from a CIDA-accredited program.3–5 years of professional experience in commercial interior design.Proficiency in Revit v2022 or higher.Strong computer literacy: Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Internet tools.Experience with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam, Twinmotion, Lumion, SketchUp, and Autodesk Construction Cloud.NCIDQ certification is preferred; candidates actively pursuing certification may be considered.Additional Skills & QualificationsDegree in Interior Architecture or Architecture may be considered with relevant experience.Experience with large-scale commercial or industrial projects.Knowledge of federal design standards such as UFC, ADA, ABA is a plus.Ability to coordinate with engineering disciplines within an interior design context.Experience with virtual design and construction workflows.Advanced rendering skills using Enscape, Twinmotion, or Lumion.Work Environment
Work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, utilizing the highest levels of design and 3D technologies for production and construction, including Revit. In-office presence is required Monday through Wednesday, with optional remote work on Thursday and Friday. Enjoy flexibility with no fixed hours, as this is an exempt-level role that adapts to project needs. While travel is not required, occasional site visits are optional based on employee interest, covering locations nationwide and territories such as California, East Coast, Guantanamo Bay, and Puerto Rico.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
