• This opportunity is temporary (until May 2026), Full-time 76hrs/fortnight

• Using your passion for home furnishing to contribute to positioning the IKEA store as the first choice for home furnishing in your local market.
• Communicating and implementing your home furnishing knowledge to create and inspire home furnishing solutions for customers (involving customer visits) through creating in-room settings, homes, vignettes, and sales support areas that reflect the IKEA identity.
• Stimulating and increasing the interest in home furnishing through constantly showing new and inspiring solutions that motivate people to visit the IKEA store frequently.
• Setting up new room settings including painting, implementing range lighting and propping.
• Using the IKEA product range to show the distinct and different styles that appeal to many individual tastes and needs within the local market.
• Reflecting the IKEA Brand identity by creating visual impact in all commercial, sales support, and co-worker areas. Let's connect Who you are Let´s connect As an Interior Design Co-worker you are or have:
• A true passion for home furnishing and people’s lives at home with a strong ability to inspire and transform living spaces.
• A hands-on approach – you are comfortable implementing your designs on the shop floor in a busy retail store and using ladders and power tools.
• A strong communicator, capable of guiding peers and influencing stakeholders to achieve design goals.
• A proactive approach in completing assigned tasks and self-development on top of daily operational tasks (e.g. maintaining assigned medias, planning, etc.).
• Delivering to under tight deadlines in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Professional experience using design software such as Sketch Up, Autodesk REVIT, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
• Tertiary qualification (minimum Diploma level) in design (Architecture, interior or industrial design preferred).
