Job: Interim Management Accountant/Finance Business Partner (3 Months) Location: Harlow, Essex Salary: £250-£350 per day Length of contract: 3 Months

My client is seeking an immediately available and highly experienced Interim Management Accountant/Finance Business Partner to join their finance team on a 3-month basis. This role requires someone who can hit the ground running, work independently, and add immediate value in a dynamic, project-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver end-to-end month-end reporting, including journal entries, accruals, and prepayments Prepare accurate and timely management accounts with variance analysis Support project accounting, WIP reviews, and cost tracking across multiple live contracts Reconcile key balance sheet accounts and ensure robust financial controls Partner with commercial and operational teams to provide financial insight and support Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and internal reporting as needed

Ideal Candidate:

ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified OR Qualified By Experience Strong background in management accounting, ideally in construction, infrastructure, or project-based industries Proven ability to pick things up quickly and work autonomously Solid Excel and ERP system experience Comfortable working in a fast-paced, commercial environment Available to start at short notice

The client is offering hybrid work (3 days in office) and £250-£350 per day depending on experience.
