The Opportunity:

Interim Key Account Manager – 12-Month Maternity Cover

Location: UK – remote, Stevenage area preferable

Avantor is seeking a skilled and motivated Key Account Manager to join our team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a pivotal role within a global leader in life sciences and advanced technologies.

Role Overview

As Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with a key customer, distributors, and representatives. You’ll provide expert support on product applications, follow up on marketing leads, and identify new business opportunities. This role involves regular travel to customer sites in the UK and occasionally industry trade shows.

Key Responsibilities

•Support customers with product application and material problem-solving

•Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors and representatives

•Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams, including Marketing

•Follow up on leads and identify new prospects

•Represent Avantor at trade shows and customer facilities

•Maintain high standards of punctuality and quality

Qualifications

•Degree in science or business preferred

•Minimum 7 years of experience in account management or a related field

•Strong communication and interpersonal skills

•Ability to interpret technical information and present it clearly
