Pay: $4600.00 Gross Weekly ($3400.00 Gross weekly plus tax free stipend of $1200.00 if live 60+ miles from facility)

St. Joseph’s Health, a proud member of Trinity Health, is seeking an Interim Nurse Director to lead our Interventional Radiology (IR), Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab), Electrophysiology (EP), and Cardiovascular and Vascular Access Unit (CVAU). This critical role provides strategic leadership, fosters interdisciplinary collaboration, and ensures the highest quality of patient care and operational excellence.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
Active RN license in the State of New York.
Minimum 5 years of Director experience in IR, Cath Lab, EP, or CVAU.
BLS Certification
ACLS Certification
Strong financial acumen with experience managing large budgets and capital resources.
Proven knowledge of hospital compliance standards, patient safety regulations, and interventional care best practices.
Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Management
Direct, develop, and support clinical managers, CNSs, and educators across IR, Cath Lab, EP, and CVAU.
Cultivate a culture of accountability, professional growth, and team collaboration.
Manage recruitment, retention, staffing, and succession planning.
Clinical Oversight
Ensure safe, high-quality, evidence-based nursing practice across all specialty areas.
Collaborate with medical staff to optimize clinical pathways and patient outcomes.
Monitor clinical metrics and initiate improvements to enhance care delivery.
Operations & Compliance
Oversee budgets, staffing models, equipment needs, and resource allocation.
Ensure departmental compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
Develop and implement policies to support effective workflows and patient throughput.
Quality & Performance Improvement
Lead initiatives to improve patient safety, satisfaction, and clinical outcomes.
Analyze data, identify trends, and implement action plans to drive continuous improvement.
Champion a patient-centered and evidence-based practice environment.
Education & Professional Development
Coordinate staff training and education; support specialty certification.
Keep pace with advancements in interventional procedures and technologies.
Promote a learning environment that encourages innovation and clinical excellence.
Collaboration & Communication
Serve as a liaison between nursing, providers, administration, and patients.
Promote effective interdisciplinary communication to ensure coordinated care.
Engage with patients and families to educate and align on treatment goals.
