The TRC EI68 station project aims to upgrade existing relay interlockings to electronic interlockings at 68 stations across the mainline rail network of TRC. The Interface Manager will play a dual role in managing customer interfaces for a specific TRC section and coordinating the commissioning of stations within that section. This position also serves as the deputy to the overall Project Manager for customer interfacing and oversees the end-to-end delivery of station upgrades in their assigned section.
Responsibilities: Contractor Representative scope: Act as the project representative and liaison manager for the customer and external partners. Attend regular meetings with the customer, ensuring that information and requests are accurately captured and communicated to the project team. Assign action items from customer meetings to relevant team members and ensure timely follow-up. Interface Manager Scope: Coordinate the commissioning of specific stations, including planning, installation, testing, commissioning, handover to operations, and final acceptance by TRC. Drive the delivery of individual stations, ensuring timely and target-oriented completion. Manage daily customer interfaces for specific stations, including progress reporting to the customer. Coordinate closely with internal teams, subcontractors, the customer, and the PCM to ensure smooth station commissioning. Provide regular status updates to the Overall Project Management team on technical delivery progress. Requirements: Experience in managing signaling projects with TRC and familiarity with TRC's organizational structure. Experience in managing a team of 5+ people and subcontractors. Strong communication skills for liaising with different stakeholders involved in the project. Ability to manage schedules, set control points, and make decisions to implement an acceleration plan when required.
